Please (don’t) let me be (mis)understood is a performance by Geert Belpaeme on which Bosse collaborated as co-director.
In Please (don’t) let me be (mis)understood, three performers enact the intrinsic frenzy of being human, harking back to an ancient, almost extinct, tradition: clowning. With the clown’s nonsensical language and wobbly body, with cheerful recklessness and frivolous pretence, they make their way through human history and beyond. Please (don’t) let me be (mis)understood is a hybrid performance that veers between clownery, dance and theatre, one in which human bodies step outside their shores to play non-human relationships as well. All with the wink of the clown’s eye.
