Iron Oxide is a triptych inspired by Mars and its atmosphere. The atmosphere on Mars is filled with dust particles that refract light, turning the sky there orange-brown.
In the series of panels (created between 2015 and 2018), an immeasurably large volume is suggested in the empty space between the different frames, as if the paintings are just fragments of a hyperobject that cannot be captured in one space.
